The seminar is a joint event of the University of Fribourg, the University of Augsburg, the University of Stuttgart and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Special Guest Speaker:
Ruoubing Zhang (Princeton University).
The Riemannian Topology Seminar was held on May 15th and 16th at the University of Stuttgart, with the aim of bringing together research groups in geometry from the universities of Augsburg, Karlsruhe, Fribourg, and Stuttgart. We were honored to have Prof. Ruoubing Zhang from Princeton University as our special guest speaker.
The seminar featured a total of 15 presentations by participants, covering various aspects of Riemannian geometry. The topics included metrics with positive curvature, hyperkähler and Einstein metrics, as well as moduli spaces associated with these metrics. Moreover, there were talks on group actions and submanifolds of symmetric spaces.
